What we do
LPSA offers opportunities for people living with and affected by HIV to connect with others, access information, and participate in a supportive community.
-
Our weekly meetings provide a confidential and welcoming environment where participants can discuss their experiences, ask questions, share information, or simply spend time with people who understand.
Tuesdays at 7:00 PM
Meal ProvidedYou do not have to share or speak to participate. New members are welcome.
-
We help community members learn about resources and services that can support their health and well-being.
Topics and resources may include:
HIV education
Healthcare and navigating services
Digital literacy and technology
Clothing, food, and community resources
Benefits and supportive services
Healthy relationships and wellness
When someone's needs are outside the services LPSA provides directly, we can help connect them with appropriate community organizations.
-
Community should include opportunities to have fun and celebrate together.
LPSA hosts and participates in social gatherings and special events throughout the year, providing opportunities to build friendships and connect outside of our weekly meetings.
-
We collaborate with organizations throughout San Antonio to strengthen services, share resources, provide educational opportunities, and improve support for people affected by HIV.
Organizations interested in presenting to our members, sharing resources, sponsoring activities, or partnering with LPSA are encouraged to contact us.
